Why Four Seasons Anguilla Is One of the Best Caribbean Resorts for Luxury Family Travel

There are vacations that recharge you and then there are vacations that truly get you. As a travel advisor, mom to a toddler, and someone who loves a high-touch, low-stress getaway, I can confidently say that Four Seasons Anguilla delivered on every front. From flawless service to incredible dining, seamless transfers to kid-friendly amenities, this was the kind of trip that makes you start planning your return before you’ve even left.

Getting to Anguilla: A Seamless Start

Instead of a second flight from St. Martin, the Four Seasons arranged everything:

  • A private car from the airport to a nearby marina

  • A scenic 25-minute charter boat ride with drinks and ocean views

  • A swift customs process on arrival in Anguilla

  • Another quick car ride to the resort (about 12 minutes)

It felt luxurious and effortless — the kind of welcome you want when traveling with a toddler in tow.

Our Room: Spacious, Stylish, and Family-Friendly

We were generously upgraded to a multi-bedroom residence that included:

  • Full kitchen and in-unit washer/dryer

  • Dining area and living room

  • Private outdoor patio and plunge pool

  • Crib and highchair provided by the hotel

We were located right next to the family pool and steps from Meads Bay — a stretch of soft white sand and calm, crystal-clear water. Ideal for young kids and adults who love a peaceful swim.

Dining Highlights at Four Seasons Anguilla

Dining at the resort was a standout — both for the food and the flexibility. Every restaurant asked about dietary restrictions before seating, and staff remembered our daughter’s dairy allergy throughout our stay.

Café Nai
A hidden gem on property for coffee lovers and sweet tooths alike. We visited daily for espresso and gelato — both were exceptional.

Salt Restaurant
Four Seasons' signature fine dining venue and breakfast restaurant. Highlights included:

  • A fresh-squeezed orange juice station

  • Dairy-free pancakes and waffles made to order

  • Lobster pasta and crawfish at dinner — unforgettable

Sunset Lounge
The perfect spot for sushi, cocktails, and live music. We found ourselves here night after night, either for pre-dinner drinks or a full meal in a laid-back yet chic atmosphere.

Bamboo Bar & Grill
Our go-to for beachside lunches. The shrimp quesadilla and fresh salads hit the spot. Their breakfast burrito was another standout, especially paired with ocean views.

Off-Property Dining: Worth the Excursion

Although the resort offered everything we needed, we made two worthwhile trips off-site:

Uchu
Located at a nearby luxury hotel, Uchu offered a fine dining experience with standout dishes — especially the fried rice.

Blanchards
A beloved local favorite with a more casual feel and excellent seafood. Relaxed, friendly, and full of island charm.

What Stood Out

Service
Every staff member, from concierge to waitstaff, was warm, attentive, and proactive — truly some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced.

Cleanliness & Comfort
The residence was spotless, the beds comfortable, and shared spaces like pools and walkways were always perfectly maintained.

Pools & Beaches
Pristine pools with ideal temperatures and impeccable beach service made every day feel like a dream.

Kids Club
Well-run, inviting, and filled with fun programming — we overheard kids begging to stay longer. A huge plus for families traveling with young children.

Who This Resort Is Best For

Four Seasons Anguilla is one of those rare resorts that works beautifully for a wide range of travelers:

  • Couples will love the adults-only pools, romantic dining, and spa.

  • Families will appreciate the thoughtful touches, kids club, and spacious accommodations.

  • Solo travelers will find peace, privacy, and first-class service at every turn.

Final Thoughts

Four Seasons Anguilla isn’t just family-friendly — it’s family celebrated. This is the kind of resort that makes luxury feel accessible, even with little ones in tow, and still leaves you feeling pampered and inspired. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a sun-soaked family vacation, this property belongs at the top of your Caribbean list.
